Humanitarian Protection and Emergency Response

OBI provides direct humanitarian and protection support to women and girls affected by violence, displacement, and crisis. Our response prioritises safety, dignity, and timely access to assistance, with particular attention to survivors of gender-based violence, single mothers, and women-led households facing acute vulnerability.

The organisation’s humanitarian work combines immediate support with case-based follow-up and referral pathways. Assistance may include psychosocial and legal support, emergency relief, medical referrals, and coordination with trusted local service providers. This approach is grounded in survivor-centred principles and delivered through local networks and institutional cooperation where relevant.

OBI has also contributed to emergency response efforts linked to displacement from Nagorno-Karabakh, supporting affected families and women in crisis through practical assistance and case management. Our humanitarian approach seeks not only to respond to urgent needs, but also to reduce exposure to further harm and create pathways toward protection and recovery.
