Eleonora Begoyan is the visionary Co-Founder and President of the Open Borders Institute (OBI). A specialist in the architecture of Peace, Security, and Public Finance, she directs the Institute’s global strategy, institutional partnerships, and multi-sectoral programs across the Caucasus, Europe, and the MENA region.

A Global Academic Pedigree

Eleonora represents a new generation of Armenian leadership, blending high-level Western education with deep regional insight. She is currently an Executive MBA candidate at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management (Germany), adding to her Master’s in Public Finance Management. Her unique professional profile is further distinguished by a Master’s in Luxury Fashion Management from Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (Milan) and advanced studies in Sustainable e-Government at Linköping University (Sweden).

With over a decade of experience in transitional governance, Eleonora has cultivated a “Global-Local” approach to institutional reform. Her expertise is backed by specialized training from the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) andand the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA). She operates at the critical intersection of:

  • Conflict Prevention: Facilitating cross-border cooperation and high-level diplomatic engagement.
